ALISON MOGER 15th APRIL

Our next workshop at Swansea Museum is with Alison Moger, a well known Welsh textile artist who uses the medium of textiles to tell stories of life in the valleys of Wales. The tourism drive this year is geared around 'Myths' and Alison has loved reading the 'The Snow Child' by Eowyn Ivey and has been immersed in this book that combines myth and fantasy. So she would like the participants to perhaps create work based on books and or myths that they have enjoyed. The workshop will have a mixed media element as Alison's current work shows with paper and fabric combined, these are from Tales of the Unexpected. ..
