NEC TRIP

We had a great day at the NEC plus it wasn't that busy so it was easy to get around. There were quite a few textile groups exhibiting and we had a great chat with the ladies of ' Unfettered Fibres' from Chester. They are part of C.A.T.S.Chester Art Textile Society which is a group for Artists local to the Chester area working through any textile medium. The whole group exhibits together at least once a year in Chester. Unfettered Fibres is the exhibiting arm of the Society and is made up of professional textile artists who travel to events and shows across the country to demonstrate, exhibit and sell their work. They are holding a NATIONAL OPEN TEXTILE EXHIBITION which is open to anyone, all the details are on their website www.funkyaardvark.co.uk.
