FABRIC BOOK WORKSHOP -
I am delighted to say that Becky Adams has given us details of the workshop she will be giving in August.
Join Becky Adams and create your own fabric keepsake book that promises to charm and delight.
Remember a personal memory or family saying as a starting point, then illustrate it using applique, stitch and layering of fabric. The finished books create a lovely display for shelf or mantlepiece, or can be folded away as an heirloom.
1A wonderful opportunity to explore techniques such as embroidery, rubber stamping or even use an old typewriter on fabric!
A selection of collected materials, fabrics and vintage finds will be provided.
Please bring your own source of inspiration such as a photograph, postcard, souvenir, piece of jewellery or fabric to base your book around.
There will be a requirements list nearer the date but it sounds a delightful day that will enable us to create something very precious.
