IT ALL WENT SO QUICKLY!
I hope everyone has recovered their strength and hwyl after the strenuous efforts involved in the Festival. It was the dedication, energy and enthusiasm of the many participants that made the Festival a great success, many many thanks to everyone who has been involved.
It has been over two weeks since our end of Festival get - together tea at Swansea Museum, we had a lovely quiet and reflective time with a fabulous tea of beautiful cakes, pastries and biscuits . It was a time to say thank-you to everyone who had made the Festival so successful.

We had people from the broad range of groups that had been key in the Festival's success including the Embroiderers Guild, Stitches Coven, Penclawdd Patchers, Swansea Quilters, Itchyfingers Textile Group, Contexart and the Stitching B from the National Botanic Gardens. A great afternoon in the company of fellow stitchers - brilliant!
We had an amazing Festival, and everyone including all the exhibitors and Street Art creators, our tutors for the Shop of Skills and Museum Workshops, our great Festival volunteers and Mike of Lee Mills (who donated our Festival tabards) created a vibrant and successful event - Congratulations!
We will soon be starting on our evaluations of the Festival and then move on to an A.G.M. and planning for 2018! I will continue to post mainly pictures of the workshops, Makers Market, Shop of Skills to remind us of the success, fun and enjoyment of the Festival
