SKILLS - GREAT CHOICE

There are some interesting sessions on offer over the weekend and run by many excellent tutors. Fiona is running two canvas work sessions built around the idea of having 'fun' with canvas work, so nothing traditional here other than the basic skills then it's onto use fibres including wool, silk, wire, plastic, knitting yarns. Using decorative beads, sequins and manipulating the size of stitch and moving from 2D into 3D.

So many different ideas..

The Redwork project - so sweet and achievable

Mary will show you how printing can create an unique piece of fabric.

And finally Margaret Jefferies will show you how to manipulate fabric with tucks, twists and embellishments
