PONTARDAWE - DRAGONARTS

DragonArts and Learning is the new independent charity set up on Pontardawe in what some of us remember as the old Berlei Factory in Church Street. Their dynamic leader Polly really wanted to be part of the Festival and so the stitching team were challenged with creating a special hanging to be on display the Whitewalls entrance to Swansea Market.
Polly wrote a entertaining poem about Swansea Jack and his girlfriend Jill, in it they visit Swansea Market of course as well as Cwmdonkin Park and Mumbles - quite a journey. The team are led by Debi Lamborn and it has been a challenge but she has pulled in ladies that are non-stitchers, hesitant stitchers and experienced stitchers and the end product is going to be a star-turn of the Festival.
